Senior Diploma
Senior Diploma Programme (4th & 5th Year)
The Senior Diploma Programme at Sabita Art Academy is an advanced, professional-level course in Fine Arts. This programme is intended for students who have successfully completed the Junior Diploma or have equivalent knowledge and practical experience in drawing and painting. It focuses on refining artistic skills, strengthening conceptual understanding, and developing an individual creative identity.
The course emphasizes disciplined studio practice, structured assignments, and project-based learning. Students are trained to think visually, observe critically, and express ideas with confidence through various artistic mediums. Equal importance is given to both technical mastery and creative expression.
Throughout the programme, students work with a variety of materials including pencil, charcoal, watercolor, acrylic and oil colours. They are encouraged to experiment, analyze their work, and engage in constructive critique sessions to improve artistic maturity and presentation skills.
In addition to practical training, students are introduced to Art History, Aesthetics, and Modern Art Movements, which help them understand the evolution of visual arts and the role of artists in society. This academic exposure prepares learners for higher education, competitive examinations, as well as independent professional practice.
By the end of the Senior Diploma Programme, students develop a professional portfolio, the ability to conceptualize original artworks, and the confidence to exhibit or present their creations in public platforms. Successful completion of the programme makes students eligible for Senior Diploma Certification and opens pathways to careers in fine arts and design.
Sabita Art Academy is committed to nurturing creativity, discipline, and artistic excellence in every learner.
